Freie Improvisation verziert mit elektronischen Elementen und Groove. LūX erschafft Klangwelten, die aus dem Moment heraus entstehen und vertont feministische und globale politische Texte. Die Vielfalt der Stimme überrascht mit unerwarteten, skurrilen, filigranen und warmen Klängen. Mal puristisch, mal entfremdet erzählt sie Geschichten und verschmilzt mit der facettenreichen analogen und synthetischen Instrumentalwelt.
Das Projekt, für das die Sängerin und Komponistin Carolin Schnabel Feder führt, schafft Atmosphären, die gleich mit mehreren Sinnen erlebt werden können. So verschmelzen in den Live-Darbietungen Musik und Visuals zu einem symbiotischen Spiel. Einmal mitgerissen, gibt es auf der Reise fernab von Zeit und Raum immer neue Klänge, neue Rhythmen, neue Bilder zu entdecken, ohne dabei den Fokus zu verlieren.
Free improvisation decorated with electronic elements and groove. LūX creates sound worlds that emerge from the moment and sets feminist and global political texts to music. The diversity of the voice surprises with unexpected, bizarre, delicate and warm sounds. Sometimes puristic, sometimes alienated, it tells stories and merges with the multifaceted analogue and synthetic instrumental world.
The project, which is led by singer and composer Carolin Schnabel Feder, creates atmospheres that can be experienced with multiple senses. In the live performances, music and visuals merge into a symbiotic game. Once carried away, there are always new sounds, new rhythms, new images to discover on the journey far away from time and space, without losing focus.

“I remember very well my first free jazz concert at ACUD Berlin. I went in by accident and these strange sounds came towards me. Somehow they fascinated me and on the other hand my ears and eyes just didn't understand what was happening there. Actually I wanted to leave again because it had completely overwhelmed me but then my eyes discovered a light reflection that moved. My eyes were fascinated by these dancing lights. In combination with the music, a whole new world suddenly opened up and I was sucked into it. From that moment on it was clear to me that sound and visuals belong together. I would like to give every ear the opportunity to dive into this fascinating world. That's why visualizations are an important part of LūX.”
